Robots and 3D printers are going to be used to perform tasks and build all kinds of things for us in the future. That applies to buildings too. By combining robots with 3D printing, Branch Technology is exploring new ways to erect amazing structures. Carbon fiber reinforced ABS plastic is used to draw structures that solidify quickly.

As the video suggests, these small structures are capable of withstanding lots of weight. Such technology will be used to build structures that can withstand harsh conditions. KUKA robots are used to complete this particular project. This open air children’s pavilion in Nashville is just a start.
