In the future, many of us will have robots in our home cooking our food, cleaning, and doing other boring tasks. Take CIROS for instance. Developed by the Korean Institute of Science and Technology, this robot relies on sensors, microphone, camera, and a dexterous hand to execute commands and hold objects.
The robot comes with laser scanners, 3D camera, and ultrasonic sensors. It can prepare a salad or serve food. Whether robots should be given knives is a whole other discussion though.
