The Misty II robot is finally here. It is a programmable personal robot with a visual block-based interface that lets non-technical users create new skills for it fast. It also has JavaScript APIs for more advanced projects. The robot stands 14 inches high, weighing 6 pounds. It has “an advanced 3D Occipital sensor for mapping, a 4K Sony camera for facial and object recognition, and eight time-of-flight sensors for obstacle avoidance.”
