The Misty II robot is finally here. It is a programmable personal robot with a visual block-based interface that lets non-technical users create new skills for it fast. It also has JavaScript APIs for more advanced projects. The robot stands 14 inches high, weighing 6 pounds. It has “an advanced 3D Occipital sensor for mapping, a 4K Sony camera for facial and object recognition, and eight time-of-flight sensors for obstacle avoidance.”

The robot can run Tensorflow, Caffe, and WindowsM. It is capable of moving autonomously, recognizing faces, responding to commands, and showing emotions through its 4.3″ LCD display.
