Meet RoboGlove: a force-multiplying glove with sensors, actuators, and tendons that are comparable to the nerves, muscles, and tendons in a human hand. It was developed by General Motors and NASA for ISS missions and will have applications in healthcare and manufacturing environments.
In the future, these robotic gloves will reduce the amount of force workers will need to exert to operate a tool. They also make repetitive tasks easier to handle. GM has shared more information on this technology here.
