Remember the SALTO Robot? It is a jumping robot that can leap into the air to perform multiple vertical jumps. Researchers at UC Berkeley’s Biomimetic Millisystems Lab recently added aerodynamic thrusters to it to enhance its capabilities. The robot uses its thrusters and tail for reorientation. It can achieve a max jump of 1.25m with a 1.83 m/s vertical jumping agility.
