It was only a couple of days ago that we had the chance to cover the Walker S2 from UBTECH Robotics: it can change its own battery, which explains why it has gone viral on the Internet. The company has now shared a new video that sheds more lights on S2’s many other features. This robot can move at speeds up to 2 m/s. It features a binocular stereo vision perception system and can coordinate with other S2 robots. It has max load capacity of 15kg.

This robot can rotate its waist 162 degrees. It can perform a deep squat to pick up items off the ground. It can also handle overhead lifts. As shown in the original video a few days ago, this robot can replace its own battery autonomously in 3 minutes, which means it can work 24/7 without human intervention.
