There are plenty of cool webcams available on the market. Not all of them are ready for VR headsets though. WebEye VR is different. It is a smart web cam that provides you with a 160° viewing in Full HD @ 30 FPS. You will be able to view everything in 3D and interact with people in a more immersive fashion.
The developers currently have a WebRTC based streaming platform for this webcam. The consumer version of this product will be available for as low as $320 in December.
