Robots are great for teaching kids basics of coding. The XRP Open Robotics Kit is an experimental robot that comes with everything students need to build and program a robot that can follow lines, drive, and use its sensors to for more advanced tasks. It is powered by the Raspberry Pi Pico W with a 6-axis IMU.
This robot has 4 onboard motor controllers and sensor ports with QWIIC connectors. It is compatible with Blockly IDE and will support MicroPython programming. Mobile apps are in the works for it. You can find out more here.
