The Yarbo modular lawn robot is one of the most versatile machines we have tested. It comes with a powerful Core module that combines with lawn mower, blower, trimmer, and other add-ons to let you take care of a variety of tasks in your backyard. It has app connectivity, so you can set a custom cutting height for each zone. We were lucky to get our hands on one of these to test. Cutting lawn on a flat area is not that challenging, so we decided to put this robot to the test on a more challenging surface.
For starters, we put obstacles in this robots way to see how well it can handle tough turns when moving a heavy cart. That didn’t turn out to be an issue. Our front yard is steeply sloped and takes a lot of effort to manage even with a self-propelled mower. This robot was able to handle that pretty well. We were also able to tow our car with this.
These robots have cameras on all side to perceive their surroundings. They have a “follow-me” mode. We were able to get the robot to follow us even at night. You can see our full review here.
