In the future, our vehicles will be able to move on all kinds of surfaces and even fly. We are not there yet, but Halluc II provides a glimpse of how vehicles might perform in the future. It has 56 motors that enable it to travel on unpaved surfaces. It has vehicle, insect, and animal modes.
