Robots are going to do many household chores for us in the future. They are already learning how to cook our food. Kawasaki’s coffee cobot, duAro, has learned to operate an espresso machine. It has two co-axial arms and doesn’t take a whole lot of space.
The robot has a wheeled base for easy movement of the robot. It has collision detection, low power movements and a soft body to operate safely around humans. As the above video shows, duAro uses precise movements to pour steamed milk in the shape of a heart.
