Tesla’s Optimus is a general-purpose robotic humanoid that is expected to take on a variety of tasks. We get updates on its progress every once in a while. The latest video posted by Elon Musk on X shows this robot with some fancy footwork. It shows a Tesla Optimus robot dance with agility.

According to Milan Kovac from Optimus engineering team at Tesla, the entire training was done in simulation with reinforcement learning. The video shows a cable but it is mainly there in case of a fall. Optimus is expected to be even more stable in the future.
