Teaching industrial robots new skills is not always straight forward. You will need to know coding and solid knowledge of robotics to get started. This video covers how Stanford students in the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory have taught an industrial robot to play dominoes or the xylophone.
These tasks require the robot to sense its location in space and objects around it. For instance, one of these robots can record and mimic what a person plays on a xylophone. Pretty cool, don’t you think?
